Go Up Go Down

After detecting a school the other day I noticed a trail leading through the neighborhood and decided to check it out . I ended up finding over 50 coins on the trail  but almost every one I dug had broken glass or sharp metal in the hole with it. If I had not had gloves on my day of digging could have ended up a day at the hospital getting stitches and shots.
So make sure gloves are part of your equipment every time you go digging or else a day of digging could turn into a day of stitches and shots.

Thanks for bringing it up. Those pesky pieces of metal can be sharp also.

Hello Datasteve . I've never been to a site as bad as yours with a lot of garbage and dangerous glass  !! I wonder if you can make a screen or sifter and then use a Big Shovel , it will keep your hands free from hazards . And if you feel "GREEN" like Al Gore , Dump the Trash in a garbage sack . Or , If the dirt is like sand  can you use a metal beach scoop ?

Best Regards..............Eugene
