My dream is to be able to "see" if there is a machinegun or a steel helmet in the ground instead digging for of a piece of  old exhaust pipe , if it is a coinsized object down there i don't need to know ;-)

Thanks !
It looks like there is a choice of company's who produce machines that can tell you what's in the ground, now i just need to find a detector that doesn't need a complete field office and cost a truckload of cash ! ;-)

Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 and MPX

That Golden King is my goal once I get enough silver, etc to sell and step up my game.  I would not be far from "International Treasure Hunter" status once I have hunted with that beauty for a year!!

As for a good and simple metal detector, My Bounty Hunter Pioneer 505 is awesome and it ID's very well.  If you are serious about this unit I can give you a very very in depth review of exactly how to intemperate it's targets,, etc.

It literally tells you what kind of coins are under it and has decent depth on bigger targets.  I have dug up buckets two feet down for instance.

This is a $300 US dollar unit and is great for the money.  If you are looking at the Golden King though, you might be looking at a more high end unit but I certainly recommend this for anyone including kids.

Darn.... I really want to get that Golden King to hunt the coastal forts out here.  I would be jealous of you if you get one.  You must tell me how it works if you do get it.

Maybe it's better to stick with the fashion style and bring all the rusty nails and bottlecaps back home !
I'm not going airplane or tankhunting anyway Smiley

No problem bud,  I will fly you over on my treasure hunting jet when we locate Atlantis!  All I need is that buried treasure at a local coastal fort to fund things and I am off to the International Professional Treasure Hunter's Club!!!
