First I heard of that maybe different year models?
I remember the old Jetco had both blue and gray cases the blue ones had blue coils and the gray ones had black coils. I asked a rep for Jetco about it once and his story was that 2 different company's made the case for them but he could not explain the different coils. If you want to know for sure email them they will let you know.
