Find Productive Places For Metal Detecting

The number of potentially hot metal detecting sites out there is endless. In fact I am willing bet just about everyone reading this article is just a few steps away from one or more of those productive metal detecting sites. In the beginning it may feel very challenging finding productive metal detecting spots and thats OK! We all go through and many of us get through. In time with advice and allot of practice you will start finding bigger and better metal detecting more often.

Hi Christain, Haley and Tuckeroo,
I just came back from- (if I can borrow a Tabdog term) a totlot-  55 minutes, less than a 1/4 mile away and $2.93 in clad later.Yes local spots can turn up finds. Soccer feilds are great especially the path from the stands to the concession stand. Change always gets dropped. Your own yard is even closer. I have searched my yard over and over and still find something new. Tent stakes, money, arrows, money, batteries, money,  a brass scotty dog, money, a tea pot, money, oo[s a beer tab, etc.
The local soccer field here was also an old house site. So there is always a chance for anything- just remember to backfill the dug holes because we do not want anyone twisting an ankle.

FOS

Hey Tuckeroo
At least your wife wants to hunt too= My wife hates all the racket- loves to see the finds tho-public parks are great- I have found stuff all over the soccer field- thought close to the net would be great but found that behind the net was better because the parents were back there- rings  and such
