Go Up Go Down

I broke down today and bought a fisher cz-3d today. I choose it over the f75 for the reason; I hunt only for old coins and caches.  Did I make the wrong mistake for not going with  a newer machine?  Does any one have some tips they might share to get to learn this machine. I have a garretts grandmaster 3 and a whites spectrum but I'm retiring them because of their age.   Any special pointers on this detector would be appreciated as I wait for the ground to thaw and I'm learning this fisher.
