So I am stuck here at the casino for the next two days. Unable to dig any holes or really do any reasearch.

As I was in the casino last night I was thinking about how much gambling is like digging holes in the ground. I mean ya never really know what your going to get until the turn that card over.

Well I am down 600. Guess I could have bought me a excal for that, but it sure was fun losing it. I will be at the house in the morning to keep reading and in Galveston Monday to play on the beach.

One big difference between gambling and detecting is that in metal detecting you are allowed to use technological assistance and advance for your personal benefit. But when I unwrap my "gambl-O-mat 5000" (premium edition) next to the roulette-table, I will be banned from the casino immediately...   Police

LOL! I had $1200 budget so 50% loss ain't that bad for three days. They always comp the room, room service and movies. So the sweet would have cost me 300 to 400 a night any where else and I would have had to pay for anything I wanted to do. Didn't think I was going to enjoy this trip, but ended up having a blast. Craps table had no mercy all weekend though. Every time I walked by the roulette table and there were more than five of the same color in a row I would make a $100 bet on the opposite color. Payed off 4 of the 5 times I caught it.

Can't wait to play with the detector tomorrow though. Think I will go to Galveston. Were there some people on the beaches this weekend seldom?

Yeah meant to tell you earlier east beach and Stewart were packed not many out west but still good for the first weekend of the season.
