Hi,
My son has a Garrett ace 150,It is nice and light for him as he is only 10.
He has had quite a bit of luck with it, roman coins, a couple of 15th century coins and a gold ring.
However, I can't help thinking the coil could be a bit better.
Are there any good aftermarket coil options (or a better coil from Garrett) available?

 Wise

What type of improvement would be useful ?

I mean : more ground coverage, more depth, ability to hunt trashy sites...Huh?

The excelerator are OK, so the SEF coils, but the larger Rhino from garrett or even the sniper might be useful too, depending of the expextations.

Thanks Guys!
I'm thinking maybe excelerator.
I have the little 5"excelerator coil for my Explorer II and its phenominal for its size.
Picks up tiny roman coins at 7" easy on a REALLY trashy site.
So, the quality seems to be really good.
There's nothing really wrong with the standard Garrett coil, could just do with being a little more sensitive.

Thanks again!
