Go Up Go Down

Hi Folks,

I sent in my gold the other day,

I measured 145 grams. I accidentally got a few pieces
in the shipment that were gold platted.

They photographed those and set me a pic,

{alt}

The gave me a break down of the gold they received
and the pure gold amount,

{alt}

The received amount is 4.484 Troy ounces. That is about
5.5 grams less than I measured. That is close to the gold
plated items I accidentally shipped. You can see, they
paid 95% of the going price of gold,

{alt}

They sent me a sticker for my next shipment,

{alt}

When I originally figgered the amount, I used the wrong
kind of kind of ounces. I was expecting more, but that
was my fault.

My first check was $1,290. That plus this one for $2,083
makes a total of $3,373 I have made in scrap gold in two
years.

Thanks fer L@@kin yawl, and

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Yep!   Never heard bad about that out fit.

95% of spot kicks butt.

Nothing like those TV based out fits.

 Great

My local dealer  in used Gold and Silver does not pay that amount.
Thanks for the info, I will use these folks in the future.
My last sale of gold and silver(Junk) was $1968. Paid for the new SPECTRA V3 and
some change.

Hay Tom,

I have more pressing things, but I am glad
to have the cash to help out. It is enough
money to actually do something with. That
is the best part.

I am glad there is still a place that will not
rip me off.

HH,

Tabdog

that is a really good percentage for your gold,  but  you only got paid for the gold, what about the silver, palladium, and other metals?  Palladium is 300 dollars an ounce, and silver is 17.  copper is also worth something,  do they not pay you for anything except gold?   in 18kt gold 15% is silver from what I understand.

The answer is, I am not sure.

I am collecting silver, copper and brass.

I am waiting for more weight.

So I have not looked into selling them yet.

The gold gives a good return for just an
hand full.

The other takes a good amount to give much
return.

I have a lot of silver pieces, but the weight is
not that great.

I should collect aluminum, but it seems to be
too much trouble.

Happy Huntin,

Tabdog

Midwest is a good one to deal with.  Glad to see that your outings have paid well for you over the last 2 years.  Congrats.
