Was looking around for a digger and had to get this for only $5.99 at ACO hardware it's as thick and strong as our better priced diggers, zinc plated hardened steel and the blade it's self is 7" long. Might make a good spare!

Friskas also makes the exact digger. I have one and they cut nice plugs but you have to be careful not to pry with it or it will snap where the blade and handle meet. I have already broken one of them but they replaced it free of charge...Warren

They look like a very mean knife but luckily it has a channel in the middle of the blade and a fork in the tip of the blade. The local police thought mine was really neat and had no problem with it. Here is the link if you want the specs on it ....Warren

I use a Japanese Hori Hori knife. very sturdy and well priced. Also there is an Ames True temper 7-n-1 that is a good knife. Rider
