Yes, not many gold ones on land, they usually end up being silver or junk metal.
I find most of mine in the water.
Recent ones are pictured from a 1 hour water hunt, two sterling, one junk with a Detectopro Wader

I found 2 silver rings last friday during a short lunch hunt. I find more silver ring than gold. The gold rings are easy to miss if your not digging everything.
