I am having a very hard time pinpointing with my ace 250. When I get what I think is a good tone I swing over it slow to make sure I get it again. Then I hold in the pinpoint button swing left till I lose tOne then same to the right to try and center it . I then run My coil forward and back once or twice and then I move it forward and  back until I lose tone and it is normally right where my sharpie mark is on the middle of my coil. I don't know if I'm picking bad targets? I'm just diggin to china and not finding anything.

Your doing good.

Remember the DD coil is looking from Nose to Toes.  Like a Paint Brush.

You need to Cross the coil over the target to determine the Cross hairs.

Unlike a Concentric coil, they are looking in a wide path.

You need to sweep from side to side and Cross the coil 90% and hit it again.

Do the Mental photo in your head as to were the target would be.

Use the Power of the tones, sky Walker!   Use the Power!   LOL

Just wanted to thank you for your help homefire. That helped quite a bit. I found A couple penny's one is a 68 Lincoln haven't cleaned it up yet it. Could be a double d error. Getting better every time I go out thanks for all your help.
