hi i  found a hoard of 1800 or so roman cons nr salsbury england some 10 years ago  in a pot they were all  copper and  now wonder if others pots were bured for silver or gold  and if its worth gong back to find them possibly wth deep seeking kit any uk members with thoughts on this    or non uk if intending to visit

It is quite possible i have saw a pictures posted of a clay pot dug up once filled with roman coins,,,wonder if was yours ,,,,,hope you find another

I might try searching with a two box or a big coil PI machine. Would take some time to cover the area but could very well be worth the effort.
