Go Up Go Down

It was like 20/30F in the morning and all the sudden it was 40/50F Up to 90 or so in the day.

No time to get use to it.

It messes with you Real Bad that way.

When it gets up to 120 or more it wipes me out.

 I can't do a thing.

I just set here and Melt, Get Sick and Puke.

One of my best Gold Spots I've measured 130F in the Sun. Yea it gets that hot some places here.

You don't read stuff like that in the books.

If you look at the worlds high temp you will see stuff like Death Valley or in the Mid East. LOL

 They Lie.

I lived in Turkey and it got up to 137F all the time in the summer.

 Tucson AZ, 130F.

Here in the Open 135F No Problems.  And this is High Desert 4000FT or more.

Tires Blow out on Cars on I-10 because of the Heat here.

People living in there little Cocoons called SUV's or Car's don't know what there asking there Vehicle to Do.

Well, even the best of the Best vehicles have limits.

They just like us, CAN"T TAKE IT!

They do there best, Piss and Mone when you Listen.

But You still push them on.

Back in the Old Days, the Prospectors had Burroes.

When They had enough they would lay down on you and no matter what ya did they would just Bray (Basically tell you Piss Off) and refuse to move.

Your Truck will not do that.

It may just live long enough to get you into the Boondocks and then say, DEAD BUG!

I guess what I'm trying to say here is Pay Attention to your ride.

It will Talk to you.

What part of Oregon?  Oregon has some pretty hot places in summertime!     --from a northeastern Oregonian

I know what you mean about Az lived there for 50 yrs

Until my wife and I moved to Ohio thought I had died and gone to heaven
The one saying here that gets me when I tell people I meet we moved from Arizona is (its a dry heat isn't it )
They haven't a clue

I have seen it 125 in the shade there in the phoenix area
And when they say you can fry an egg on the hood of your vehicle that's no lie

Yeah, especially since the time of the year when it is the hottest is also the time of the year when we have our monsoonal rains.  So you either have the heat and humidity building up for a rain or you should past the 105 to 108 degree rain threshhold and suck up all the moisture from the previous days' rainfall so you can repeat the cycle in a couple of more days.

I am looking forward to moving back home though

Except this time my wife and I will be in a remote area of AZ
We purchased a 40 acre piece of property in northern Arizona that is completely off the grid

Our plans are to build a cabin and power it with solar power and electric generating wind mill

Make sure you lay in plenty of wood for the winter.
