My oldest detectors are from the mid-70's -- A White's Goldmaster that was a gift from my father-in-law and two Compass Yukons that I bought last year but have not used yet.   I got a good price on the Yukons and figured if I got one good machine out of the two of them, I'd be doing good.  They both seem to be in good condition (once I replace the battery connectors).  I got them to see how they compare to my Garrett GTAx 1250 and my White's Classic 5ID when it comes to hunting for nuggets in the desert.

I'm just getting back into this "obsession" after a very long absence.

Still have my old Garrett Master Hunter VLF/TR that I purchased new sometime in the late 70s.

I wish I had kept my old Metrotech though.

I have none from the old days.

I, too, wish I had kept my Metrotech.
