Nice site thanks for the link i bookmarked it so i can go back and listen to the rest of your tips etc.
As far as the buried treasure, if the house is boarded up, no one is living there , etc. think i would just take my chances and go dig it up.

Besides if someone stops you all you have to do is tell them the story and they will probably help you dig it up.
