Yesterday I was in the back yard coin-shooting late in the afternoon ....

Unfortunately, the wife came home angry because I didn't have my cell phone with me.  Huh? Those of you who are online gamers may possibly know the phrase... "wife Aggro!" well that was the case with me, and I was in the dog-house for at least an hour. Anyway, with that boiled over, things are back to normal.. no wait for it... it gets better...

So, today I emailed her (at work), and mentioned that a great birthday present for my daughter (who's going to be 9) would be for me to pass on to her my metal detector, and I could buy a new one! Sounds great huh? Well, that back fired faster than you can smell stink on dog poop.  Undecided
Yep, mad all over again because I was just interested in getting one for myself. Yes, I was thinking about one of those new Teknetics Gamma 6000 units (OK, I'm dreaming).. but anyway I had my hopes up.  Well, hope you all enjoyed this story, and got a couple laughs.. perhaps even some of you may have had the same experience?

I've just earned EXTRA good husband points this morning!  Grin
Yesterday she said she lost her wedding rings, and even thought that she may have lost them in the restroom at her work - which meant that someone could easily have walked off with them. However, this morning I found them in the car, and gave them to her! So, this makes up and beyond what's happened before.

Ah you missed a golden opportunity though, you should have tossed em out in the yard and found em with your detector. See honey I need a better detector just in case.....  Grin
