Most of the snow is gone, but mud has taken it's place.  Maybe I'll get to play with my new Tesoro soon...winter can't last forever! Waveing

I was out yesterday digging in the mud. The top has thawed out, but further under is still hard. Won't be to long now and looking forward to using the XP GoldMaxx Power I won on some likely spots. Smiley

Yes outback I hope it works out well, will post all the details as I use it. I was already looking for a new detector and the Goldmaxx is a Godsend. It looks like the perfect detector for me. My eyes are failing with macular degeneration and pinpointing is getting real hard. I cannot use any of the detectors with screens, so was shopping for a tone only ID machine with good pinpointing. I had not heard of the Goldmax so it was new to me. There are not very many machines with advance tone ID for gold. I will also have to change my pin-pointer. Right now I have a Vibra Probe. It is a good machine, but the detection field is small, only about 3/4 inch. I need something with a larger field of detection so that I can find the target. I can see a coin in the dig hole wearing 5 power glasses, but have to get my eyes within about 4-5 inches to see it. If anybody can recommend a pinpointer for the vision impaired I would appreciate it. My Infinium will be sold because of not being able to pinpoint very well with it. Usually have to dig a 1 foot wide hole to find the target.
