My ham radio sold, and I finally got paid for it yesterday, so I turned around and spent it all on the new Garrett Ace 350!  Grin

Looking forward to using that (upgrade from my old Whites Classic SL II).

uh, but then I have to wait for the ground to defrost too.

Patience is a virtue that will unfortunately not melt snow or frost.

Come back and let us all know how you like your new toy.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I have no idea if it's the same as the Eagle II sL 90. Sorry. One thing that I did notice is that 1/2 the manual is in another language other than English (I'm not specifying what the other language is so that someone won't post that I'm racist or something-just don't go there please). I'm sorry, but they can certainly save on a lot of production costs by NOT printing the manual in other languages. They can easily have a single page in the end of it written out (in that language) that says 'for a manual in this <other language goes here> please visit our website at..." then the new owner of the unit can go to that website an look at it. They can even save a bundle by getting the new owner to mail back in the English one for one of the other language - then they can ship it out media mail and save a bundle again on production costs! That's just my 2c.

Anyway, I think that I'll be hitting the dirt after work today with it!  Grin
