Go Up Go Down

Victory  I finally got out today  (Memorial Day) with my detector, a Compass X-200.  I spent about 1 hour and 40 minutes with it in a small local park.  I found a lot of junk, but had a couple of good finds, too!
                                                          Detecting
My first find was a lock-blade knife that had been in the ground for a while.  Wood on the handle was beginning to deteriorate, the lock spring is shot and the blade is loose.  But it still looks pretty good.

I found 2 coins, a 1979 Lincoln penny and a 1998 clad quarter.  (Hey, it's still money!)

My best find was a large sterling silver men's ring with a cross cut into it as the design.  And it is just my size!   Wise

I've tried to post a couple of pictures, but they won't download.  Maybe I'll figure out a way to get some pics on here@!  LOL!

Most people who have trouble posting pictures here are unaware of the size limitations on the forum. Each picture cannot exceed 500k and the total for any single post is 1M. Shrink your pictures using the attached program which is free for forum members and you should be all right.

Glad to help out. The resizer program is extremely nice because there is no need to install it. It runs from the desktop and is easy to figure out without instructions. It does a really nice job of almost lossless resizing.
