I am sure someone will think this a bit sick, but has anyone thought about tornado alley as a place to search? It would seem that all the contents of the properties destroyed would be in the path the tornado took. These can be tracked on radar and from witnesses. Think of all the stuff you could return. I mean we search shipwrecks, which were tragedies at the time

I removed the wandering pics.

I'm sure lots of our members who live in "tornado alley" have recovered more tornado debris than they suspect---especially from really old tornadoes.   But to answer your more immediate question, as long as you follow the usual hunting rules and etiquette, why note----especially if you can reunite someone with a cherished item in the process.
