I put together this “Metal Detecting Buddy” cart to enhance my outings. All the things I need are at hand and ready exactly when I need them. I used an inexpensive golf cart and a canvas bag with zippered compartments. I easily connected them together with heavy-duty zip ties. It’s amazingly easy to tow or push, it parks without falling over, I can lean my detectors on it while I dig, there is lots of room for foldable camp seats and refreshments, and it’s sturdy. While I think it’s not appropriate for “all” metal detecting outings it surely fits most for me.
