hello every one first let me say what a great site this is. im very new to metal detecting so new that i dont even have a detector yet as im still shopping around. with that i have a few questions as to what im looking for and where its at. im looking for copper in water not deep water about 3-4 feet deep. the water has big rocks in it about 1- 2 feet tall so i wont be able to get close to the bottom what detector would work for something like this? also how close do i need to be to the item im looking for?

thanks
