Anyone ever get a chance to swing a detector on jobsites before foundation is poured? Seems like that would be good place to do so with all the dirt being moved around. A few years back i found silver half from early 1920s

As a matter of fact beamwalker I have, kinda...In the park the city dug out an area for a new slab of cement and than they cover it with rubber chips. They back filled around the cement with what they dug out. Found some change but the highlight was a IH penny.

scraped sites, where an old building has been torn down and the site is grated out and leveled for new construction (building or road), are always sought out around here.
