hello there i'm 19 and have been treasurehunting since i was 6 and i have metal detected for a few years but i'm hoping to upgrade my detector to a brand name detector and i was wondering if anyone has an old one laying around that they would be willing to part with i live in north carolina i would be willing to pay shipping if it's somewhere in the us just message me with details and we can hopefully work something out thank you for reading and happy hunting!!! Dave, the best advice anyone can ever give you is this. Don't dispose of anything you find right now. Keep it for a year. Stockpile gold, silver and coins and at the end of the year, count it up. If you have the luxury of going ot just two days a week (a weekend or evenings) then it's almost certain that you will have accumulated around $1000.00, which is enough for a very nice, brand new detector. Or two of them.

thanks i'm going to try that i live on hatteras island so most the island is off limits but there are spots still they have been finding alot of stuff from the 1600s lately and a few items around lost colony time i think there getting close to finding something that will end the lost colony but only time will tell thanks and happy hunting.

LOL!   Back in the 70's do you have any Idea how long it took me to convence my mom to pay $50.00 for a detector out of the back of a Rag Mag?

A No Name Well sorta Name detector BFO Type.

i have a bounty hunter i'm not sure what model i'll check tommorow it works pretty good i just don't know what it's not picking up like relics and things.

Spend a little more for the Ace 350. Nothing wrong with the Ace 250 but the extra features are worth the small amount extra.
