Most of us use detectors made here in the US or Australia, What about other countries? Do they make other brands of detectors we've never heard of before? Take the Japanese- They have a huge electronics industry but I don't know of  a single Japanese company that makes MD's. What about the other countries as well.

How many mfgs are having their detectors assembled/manufactured in MEXICO, but i do know for a fact, that a few of the Fisher/BH/ And whatever else  they call them are being equipped with a MEXICO sticker, guess that's why the prices are going down on the newer models from the ElPaso area,   AAARRRrrggghhhh, rip-rip-rip  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Figured some assembly was being done in Mexico but it is still an American co.

I know Lorenz in Germany makes good PI machines. That was the dectector used to recover the Brenham meteorites.

I was curious about Japan since they are noted for their electronic industry.

I wonder of those are the same ones that I see on Ebay for $49.99? Hong Kong is famous for making really cheap stuff.

"Mega size coil for powerful penetrating
30cm diameter search coil
Down to more than 2 meters depth"

Maybe they are exaggerating? 1 meter is 3.28 feet. More than 6 1/2 ft.... that's backhoe depth.
