I've shopped many websites that advertise "30 - 70%" off sales; I'm shopping for the best price for a minelab safari and what I've noted is that all of the sellers are advertising this unit for the same price +-; what's up with that?  Are they being forced to sell for that amount in order to be a certified dealer ?  I've seen no real bargains, extra goo-ga's with some of the sites but still, the same ole price?  I'm not interested in goo-gaa, just moolah.  Please educate me.......thanx bw

Well Mr Waites, it's customary to introduce yourself here. Welcome to the forums from Australia.

Do you have a question?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello and Welcome

Yes, some manufacturers will impose fixed prices on their dealers. Why not try to find one 2nd hand then?

best wishes
