Hi Guys and Gals,

If you could buy a Multi Tool for metal detecting that could fit in your pocket, what tools would you want to see on it? In other words the Swiss Army Knife for the detectorist, maybe a bit bigger that can fit in an holster?

I would like a magnifying glass to see those dates, knife, saw blade for roots, Magnet, torch, plier (long nose), pen.

Definitely need to have both a phillips and a common slotted screwdriver, plus if you really wanted to get extravagant, a gps unit and a camera.

Small stiff - bristled (Not wire!  Shocked) brush would be good for cleaning finds rather than rubbing them clean on your trouser leg!  Funny

you know==== > just as soon as you removed one of the "unwanted" tools and replaced it with a "new better item", you'd find yourself needing the removed tool and not in a position to improvise a substitute.   (That's one of those universal laws similar to Murphy's)
