that sub surface imaging works perfectly even in clay or rough terrain and salt water. it has a different kinds of antennas for different kinds of terrain even in sea water it has a tow antenna. the only thing that machine is not good is the price. but if you want to be 100 percent satisfied never mined the price.

What is the name of the manufacturer? I can't make out the brand-name in that photo; it's too small.

SUB SURFACE RADAR

Unfortunately for Treasure Hunting use, GPR doesn't work well in a Clay, or Salt water (saline) environment, and is difficult to operate in rough terrain.  Dell

The rep from Mala GPR told me the same thing several years ago Dell. From what Ram said, I thought GPR tech had advanced by leaps. After looking at the website, it doesn't seem to be the case. Thanks for the link!

my friend have that machine we tested it. it's working well on clay, salt water and rough terrain. i have a little knowledge in electronics i know it's working for the purpose. the only thing not good on that machine is the price but 100 percent satisfaction. it has different kinds of antennas for the purpose. that machine is professionally built all parts passed the quality standard of u.s.a. it bears the mark. it was not advertised that it will go 100 mtrs nor 30mtrs. and it has an option if you have not enough money to buy w/c some professional geo hunters do they rent the machine and they satisfied the result. the good advantage of that machine is had no comments nor feedback to the users.  you can see it at usradar.com you can also rent from other sites. if you have a doubt you can rent for testing purposes and compare to other geo equipments sold and advertised can go unbelievable and no proof depth and once it was paid by the buyer it will not be returned for unsatisfaction results. so, in buying geo equipments it should be rent first for actual test in your targets before buy and have a written contract that encase for unsatisfaction the unit should be returned like money back guarantee so that you have no problem like below.

I see no problem "below" unless you're referring to Vourvon's testing of the China-made MD5008 with bad result, but do see a few problems "above":

Usaradar.com is a skimpy (virtually empty) site with a search box and no info on that machine. The link which Dell provided has the details. And nowhere does it say that the machine's antennae are submersible. How did you test it in salt water?

Until today, it is impossible for any GPR to penetrate more than a few feet in wet clay. What was the depth achieved in your tests?

As for pushing a cart around in rough terrain, I don't think i need comment on that. Grin

maybe if they received the money maybe nothing will return even your money so be vigilant. it's beter to directly buy in the manufacturer. that geo hunter is not powerful electronic circuitry only it has a hitech image. so, useless in deep penetration imaging.

Yeah...Dell-Winders is correct....it will not work in rough terrain and also in clay & saline soils. It will not work under unskilled hands...you will have to have knowledge in geology to operate it.
