Well.... Not exactly found under dirt but thought you might want to hear about it.  I was digging around on eBay the other day and found an obscure auction for some "Treasure finders". Not much info posted. Mxt 300, Coinmaster, less than 2 months old, Free delivery........  The auction closed in the early morning hours east coast and well after midnight west coast  Threre were only 2 bids! Seller had low number of good feedbacks.  Idea I gave it a shot and won!  ($480) Only 3 total bids! Found out the seller was local (40 miles) and wanted to save himself the shipping so he delivered to my door!
Mint condition, in warranty, White's MXT 300 and Mint condition, in warranty, Coinmaster (the new production unit). Bunch of sand scoops and a shovel! Great

Now..... how to get past the wife. She thinks one should only have as many detectors as you have arms...... Wink

i'm not sure she ever believes me , but it's worked so far...

If you succeed, let me know how you managed to do it.......I've got my eye on a couple and my wife keeps giving me "the look" everytime she thinks I'm thinking about a new detector.

When he comes to the door, knock him once on the head and say, "Oh, look, dear! This poor fellow just passed out on our porch. Would you get him something for that lump on his head?"

Then you grab the detector and hide it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
