Yes I have a treasure hunting dog! Detecting She is the reason I'm getting back into metal detecting for the last 4 years she has been digging out from under a house sized boulder that fell in the 1880s into the back of a house here where I live she has pulled out bottles, tools, coins, Indian items, clay marbles, and many other things the tools and bottles I have sold at the flea markets for well over $100. The coins are odd along with a V nickle she has found a 3rd century bronze coin from china a 1915 Cuban dime sized silver coin a 1943 french indo china coin she found a clear glass piggie bank with a small hole brokeout i think a kid may have hid it with the odd coins under the boulder where they played she has found old matchbox cars. Her latest find is a watch fob for SHAPLEIGH HARDWARE CO the one she found is made of copper with a light green enamel border on the internet i can only find brass with a nickle border so hers is much older last year she found a cheep old five and dime pocket watch in pieces. I would take my detector to this area but this is her site so I will leave it to her she gets very happy when she find something I like she gets a treat for it.

Good stuff.      Having a Dog is a lot better then being alone.

I'm really starting to believe in reincarnation of some sort.

It is strange that she knows what she finds is something I will want. She found a primitive button made of mussel shell and today she had something that i only seen one time before a large piece of ivory that has turned to chalk the gravel pit where i grownup had pulled out a large mammoth tusk in the late 50s it set on a top shelf of a general store 30 years a close friend i think still owns it. With all the coal mines around here a miner may have found it . It looks like a little like bone but bone does not turn to chalk where ivory does. And I'm never alone I have 5 rescue dogs just wish the other 4 was more like Pinkie.

Ol, lazy Coooon has told me there was a Bear down the Wash twice.   Told me there was a Mtn Lion one time.   LOL!  That time he tryed to be the Lap Dog and got in my face real good.   It was just before sun down and the Lion was on the hill just west of us but he knew.
