For iron or nickel meteorites, any detector with an "all metal" mode will do the job. For stony meteorites, one must use the two liquid filled orbs which reside on either side of your nose.

LOL!  For Stohy Type, I find it best to Trip on them and look back and figure out what ta hell that was!
