Saw the new Garrett Pro-Pointer this evening. About 16" long, has a loop style handle and costs in the neighborhood of $189.

That price is a little higher than I paid for mine at Amazon. Mine shipped for free, so the total price was $127. Maybe the one you saw is a different style.

I really goofed up on this post.  It was the airport security model that I saw and referenced in my post.  I don't know of any new Garrett Pro-Pointers coming out any time soon.  Sorry for the goof...it won't happen again.

I bought the Garrett Pro-Pointed about a year ago, and paid $125 for it, including shipping....
This IS the finest Pin-Pointer I have ever purchased! I wrapped some electrical tape over the speaker, and where the end cap attaches to the battery compartment, and went diving with it all day! No problems whatsoever. This will be one of your best investments. SushiDog

Don't be silly, mate. You wouldn't be human if you could guarantee that.

Did you see who I quoted? It wasn't you. If you address someone here, it's good form to either quote them or address them by name. I did not respond to you. If it wasn't me you are addressing, say so.

See how I quoted your words?

And you can stop with the "Um" thing. It only makes YOU look dumb.
