i am new to detecting but i have found some decent coins around were folks clothes lines  used to be  i realize us diggers are going to comb everything any way but i go over and over one area  because  (well one reason is i have a $27 detector  but i am getting a new one )the other is every other time i do i find another silver coin . it happens to be were the clothes line used to be . so just thought i wpould put that out there  Happy hunting !

Josey there is nothing wrong with your detector heck one of the first one i ever bought was a $25 used one and i think i may have it, used it for years and it paid for it self several times also.
And your right if u can find where the clothes line was , it's always a good place to scan.

You don't need a outrageous detector to enjoy, or make finds, research, and studying the area where there should been a lot of activity -past or present- wherever people go they lose STUFF and things- anyplace=GO FOR IT= Teach
