For those of you who don't have professional cameras, you can still photograph your finds easily. Almost any camera that has a macro (close-up) lens is good enough. Many cameras have the lens built in! The two main things you need are a tripod and good lighting, especially from the sides. You can either use lamps using the white balance setting at incandesence, or next to the window or outside with the white balance set at daylight. If you are photographing objects that are flat, like coins, any F stop aperture: 2.8, 4, 5.6, etc., is fine. But if your find is more 3-dimensional, then you should set it at the narrowest setting: F11 to F22, to get everything in sharp focus. This is where the tripod becomes necessary since your shutter speed will be longer.
     Good luck!!!!!!!
