Why on earth would you ask for a schematic? This kind of item is still in production and is probably proprietary in design.

As I move towards a PI machine. I am asking if this is something any of the readers use. I wanted a real review. I also know we have folks here building one, so it was for him too. Looking to lighten my pack a bit. Off the top of my head I cant remember the difference of the vlf and PI machines and how they work. The schematic while most of it greek to me, would give me clues on a basic design thats all. I know the multi frequency patent is about to run out on vlf so I hear. I could read through some old post.......if anyone wants to share a lil about this gizmo Im all ears.

I use and like PI machines in the water and beaches for parks school yards I go with the VLF and for relic/ cache hunting I prefer BFO or VLF/TR. They all have good points and bad points.

Seldom, do you think the F75 has enough punch power for cache hunting? I really dont know how deep it goes when wide open.

Depends on the cache. You would be surprised most caches are not that deep or under solid rock. Most caches are hidden with the idea of recovering sometime in the future, that being the case the hider will not make for a hard recovery

Basically what I was getting at was the manufacturers are not likely to give up a schematic just so you can learn how a PI circuit works. For that, go to our very own downloads section and find any PI design to study.

Pulse detectors most do not have discrimination on them whites does. (TDI). pulses are best for cache hunting. For relic and coin hunting on land the motion detectors excell. As for pinpointers they all work ok for that some have a iron and non iron feature on them. (furous-non furous).

I believe that a pinpointer with discrimination would be a waste of time. All you need it for is finding that target in the sand or dirt, not for determining the target that is a half inch away.
