 :)to power up the yukon so far ive purchased 3v ,6v,9v, 12v power packs that all use AA cells and tried connecting them up one at a time ,but only got a click at speaker each time i tried.no matter what pot position was hmmm Round About

I read your post and I was thinking, what 12 volts, but than doing a search I found this. (The early White's even took a 67 volt battery<1968)

i have an old (30 years or more) compass, model 77b professional, it still works great, just a little heavy uses 12 aa batteries

So maybe it's even more than 12 volts. I hope someone can answer your question.

hi,
3x6 volts....... 18v in all probability.

Found this relating to the 99b:

"The selector (a-b) is to separately check the A and B, 9 volt battery packs (6 ea. 1.5 volt AA packs)"
