Here she comes. hurricane Sandy.She will flip the sand for us...  Got the ole Hurricane magnet all set up with the flux set to Connecticut. Charging the detector batts...... Course ...I work for a local power company so will have to wait till we get the lights back on.... Grin

It can go both ways.

The Storm can rip out a lot of sand leaving the goodies .

Or it can Sand things up real bad covering them.

Most times it cuts the beach on the good side.

Over in wallingford. We have our own power co. We have 6 crews, 6 contractor crews, and 6 tree crews working 24 hrs. By thur pm we were all back. What a mess...

Well, we lost power for 4 days. Used a generator for 4 hours, off for 6, on for 4 and so forth just to keep the fridge and freezer cold. During those off times, it did seem remarkably primitive.
