The owner's wife of the Greensburg KS assisted living center (were 30 ambulator residents until yesterday that is) is a close friend of mine.

As you all may now know from the news, the town (1mile x 1mile--1,800 population) was wiped out ystdy in a 1.5mile wide tornado.

There is a need for local expert MD'ers to contact me and I'll pass the info to the owners for assistance in locating about 30 peoples valuables in this assisted living center.

Remember, all these people have pretty much sold or donated all non-essentials they had in order to move into these modern apartment facilities.  Jewellery and other such valuables would be the last things one would sell, due to sentimental value, ditto service medals and coins, etc.

Please email me at goldtutor@aol.com if you are willing to help PRO BONO and I'll put you in touch.  Let me hear from you today if possible.

Great opportunity to garner some good will for this hobby...

After seeing video footage i doubt any detector would find anything there to many metal objects in that mess,, have a better chance eyeballing it after it was cleaned up a little maybe,,,I feel bad for all of them very sad day

I wonder if anything had been recovered by a volunteer MD for them.  Hopefully there were at least some items recovered for those people.
