I don't want to discriminate any however in the trashier areas its a must or you'll wear yourself out. As long as you don't mind digging pull tabs and bottle caps set her on zero. My detectors (troy shadow x2 and x3)have coin check on them and thats a hole digging saver for me as I like finding the money! Always remember the more you discriminate the less chance of finding that golden ring. Sensitivity on the other hand I set as high as I can with out having any outside interferance. happy hunting....

If the place is trashed and I just expect or want coins I do. I hate to use it.

If you want it all, you dig it all.

The less the better basically. Like Homefire said...if you want it all then you dig it all. It's kind of a cause and effect situation...the more disc. you use the better the chance of missing a target. With that in mind a person is forced to ask themselves if they are willing to take that risk. Some are some aren't. Yes I do use some but a lot of the time it is as little as possible. Then again there are days were I will use a little more disc. than I would normally though it's not often.

Yep he's right there, but here coz people have made a mess for thousands of years it's just murder
