we have a vr 2000 lrl that my late uncle had, we have the owner manual, but would like to know if there is other info out there on how to use this, maybe even a video. or anyone have or used one them selfs,  are they any good?  thanks

The owner's manual is all you really need. If it's not working, it may be broken so start out by telling us what you can't do with it.

If it's working properly and you know it is, get out and use it. There's no better teacher than finding targets.

Hey, dartay.....welcome.
   Don't mind GD, he's the gruff OLD uncle of the group.  He's 100% correct in his advice, though.
   The best thing you can do is read the user's manual and go out and use it.   While you're using it, make mental (or written notes) and then come back and check what you're seeing against what the manual says should be happening.
   That doesn't mean someone won't come along who has a vr2000 who will give you tips, but do you really want to wait until someone comes along before you start learning?   Besides if you start in the manner that GD has suggested, the advice another user gives you will probably make more sense to you than it would otherwise.
