there are moves being made against us and our hobby fight back let your opinions and thoughts be known . here is a site for us to do so it was shared with me so i will share some of you may already follow if you join they will keep you aware of whats happening in your area in the U.S. i dont know of any others out there if anyone does please share josey

i wish these folks would work with us for the sake of preservation we could help them and they could help us in alot of ways but they think they are the final authority on anything just because of a degree we should start a college course then we could get all em grants and stuff and a big ole piece of paper making us experts on everything old and diggin it . i am not really a relic hunter but i have nothing against them finding preserving or selling to others who are gonna do the same . it dont hurt nothin to get it out before they build the wall mart over it or a highway or a lake i saw where the lake of the ozarks has 60 or more cemetaries in it over 2000 people buried under the lake . theres alot of us who have helped or are currently saving our history without excluding anyone regardless of anything history was made by all types of people in the past so should it be recovered by and preserved in the future save it for folks to see dig up before it vanishes under apartments and condos or disentgrates in the ground Cool

There is another group that has been working on our behalf in Washington to protect our rights as metal detectorists. They are WWATS; World Wide Association of Treasure Seekers. Josey, you need to set up and organize a group like the NCMD check out their web site over here in the you UK because you can setup your own guidelines and then list your proposals that way people will take notice of you if you approach it from a professional angle, It will work out better than just blasting these people, and you will carry more weight this way,

good idea but when blasted i blast back its the outlaw code that josey lives by they can say what they want about us as unprofessional as it makes them look but that dont mean we have to let them without returning the favor they are people just like us of all backgrounds just like us check out archeoligy gone wild on you tube these are some the professionals that say we are unprofessional i realize its not fair to lump them all together or steriotype them but thats what their doing to us with no apoligies or reason /fairness josey
