Nah>>

Here in the high desert mountains of NM, we get snow but we're at about 6600' and in a wide long flat valley surrounded by mountains. They get more further north of here in NM (towards Colorado) LOTS more.

Where McIntosh lives, good snow isn't all that uncommon (I-40 used to get shut down once or twice a season, mainly for ice or visibility reasons)---although a blizzard is a bit rarer.  The other side of the Sandia and Manzano Mountains in Albuquerque would be either snowfree or just have a dusting at elevation, but his side would be another story altogether.

Next time I'm more than just passing through on my way to Texas, I'm definitely taking you up on the offer.

Your welcome any time!

Your right about I-40 shutting down due to weather conditions. Just this season alone, it's been shut down 5 times that I know of. But the good thing as you probably know, is that in a couple of days, it's usually gone from this immediate area. Another good thing, is that other treasure hunters are discouraged by the weather so don't come out here. But then, this valley with most of it being privately owned, has NEVER been detected.

SO COME ON DOWN EVERYONE! I have some excellent sites to play on.

OH>>everyone's got an open invitation to visit my new website. Please see my profile for link, visit, and at least sign the guest-book. Memberships free to those that are interested.
