wish I had your budget  Smiley    Use the advanced search feature and search the entire forum for "best detector".....of course, you're going to have to decide whether or not you want to risk getting your detector wet.....(maximum impact would be to get two detectors, one of which would be submersible).

thanks for help, i was looking into the ground penetrating radar,  or minelab detectors the rs one for $5000.00 but i dint know if its a good one

Ground penetrating radar is for specialized applications, so unless you're actively going after some very large caches you'd probably get a lot more use out of a VLF or a PI.   If you're only interested in searches where GPR would not be overkill, I'll defer to the members that have experience with those types of hunts.

i looked at nokta golden king detector, it might be overkill but it seems it does it all, and it comes with many coils it is good for  water and land
