I noticed today that when I turn on the pre-set programs the backlight is off. I proceeded to the basic options menu and turned on my backlight (I was in an old cellar without a light source). However, when I went back to the pre-set programs, the light again turned off. It has been 2 yrs since I have gone out with the XLT (due to major surgery, retirement and then moving to another country) so I may be a little rusty on the use of the XLT however, is there a way to turn on the backlight during the use of the pre-set programs? I will proceed to go to the users manual to see if they mention this issue also but thought someone out there may have a ready answer for this one... Thanks, Coloma Gold
