I was thinking it would be cool to start a post that had the potential to gather as many Laws as we could in one location.

We have a Pile of folks from various countries and locations.

My Idea is that you can Post What You Know about your location.

As you find more information you can edit your post to include the same.

Just try to keep your post updated if you can.

I will start the first post with the following information.

New Mexico State Law:  New Mexico State law follows the  1906 antiquity law.

All State and Federal lands are covered by this law.

Private Properties set aside, you must observe this law.

National Forest is still open to Prospecting under the 1872 mining act but still includes the 1906 antiquities Law.

This Law Covers Open Grounds on Forest and BLM lands.

Some Lands have been withdrawn from Mineral Exploration.

That does not mean it can not be Panned or used just not Claimed under the Laws.

EPA: Other Laws come to play if your working in the water.
