I was interested in purchasing a metal detector by the name of " bounty hunter pioneer 202 " but i know little information about it and in saying that would like to ask whether or not this metal detector is worth buying, if you could help me out with any info that would be great.

I own one. It is real easy to use. I have three coils with mine. The 8 inch coil it comes with does a good job. I soon grew out of mine and wanted more in a detector. It has no pinpoint, but not to hard to learn to pin point properly. You can get a new detector at hobby lobby with a coupon pretty cheap. I paid too much for mine. If your just starting the hobby, it would be a ok first detector. Otherwise save up your money and get something a little more advanced.
