One I didn't see was the Heatkit GD-48 metal detector. Not sure anyone would want to build one now as it was the worst detector I have ever owned!!!  Undecided
I

I heard that they only sold one of them.

Thats for sure and It didn't work too swift either!! ha ha.  I have built quite a few Heath Kits in my day and that one by design was just plain bad. Built a few home made detectors that worked great. (Slightly off the subject.... but..... I once had an Arado 120 that could sniff silver dimes at 10-11 inches!) I think Heath had 2 different metal detector kits.

Thanks,

What a nice thing for you to do!  I have searched high and low for alignment and other info on the Heathkit SW-717.  I'd appreciate any and all info you might have on this little receiver.

Thanks!!!

Wayne, please note that he is asking you to contact him via e-mail. Since he hasn't posted here in quite a while, it is safe to say that he will not reply to you here.

Hello and sorry if this is a "repeat." I'm new here and haven't quite figured out the "rules."

Anyway, I've been looking, for several weeks, for any alignment and other info on the Heathkit SW-717.  I'd sure appreciate any and all info you might have on this little receiver.

Thanks!

Wayne, it wasn't a rule I was mentioning at all. Since he hasn't been here in months, I just didn't want you to waste time waiting for him to reply. He's probably not going to see your request. However, he did say that anyone who wanted one of his schematics should write to him. Once again, you made your request here on the forum. Nothing wrong with that except that you won't get a reply or a schematic that way.
