Welcome to the forum.
There is a bit more to treasure hunting than going for a vacation using a metal detector and finding Mexican gold.
Unless you know a lot more than what you are telling us or name is LUCKY dan123arr. In this case a $29.99 Dick Smith special detector will do the job.
Please don’t take me wrong. Metal detecting is a great hobby and any detector will help you find coins artifacts and perhaps some jewelry on your vacations.
Have fun and when you come back give us a report.
From Melbourne Australia.
