As a treasure hunter we need ways to plot our finds, routes or just make notes on a map. I have found a great resource for drawing on maps.

Grin Grin Grin It has great possibilities this site as I use Google earth all the time, this saves the drawings in a Google Earth format  Great

I use a program called I-detect community.  cant remember where I got it, but it has a map and alot more stuff I never use. I write down the addresses and make myself notes for future reference like........hit this again after a rain, hit the northwest corner because I havent yet, take the 4" and work the fence here, etc.......  I do alot of my places again after a rain, rain=gold and silver. Your detector goes deeper and more accurate ID when the ground is soaked.  Here we go, this is where I got it

I just Google and open with Paint.   Do my markers and keep as needed.

I requested a Membership and waiting for E Mail.

Denizen,

Yeah pity that you need a connection to use the software, but I guess if you have copied a jpg map to your desktop, you can call it up in a graphics software on your computer and edit it, so it does help....
