can i extend my coil line-coil feed 10-20 feet (put an other extension on the coil?) i want to covert ace 250 to do under water search.

Being rather low power, I don't know how it would handle the added Inductance/Capacitance and Resistance of the wire.

The ACE in not so good in Salt Water.

Interesting Project !!  I am sure we can recommend a low loss shielded cable for a 10 to 20 foot length . Like RG-58 type coax or equivalent . Let us know your complete project idea unless you are filing a patent first . Best of Luck . Idea's are always very welcome on this Forum !!

I do not think it work properly, like they said will probably change the capacity and will drop the power of detection.
